MONO VPN
Instructions for macOS

MONO VPN on Mac: both protocols via MONO Connect

On Mac there is only one standard way. NaiveProxy and SSTP go through our MONO Connect application - a free DMG from the site. Download, add the key from your account, select a profile and confirm the macOS VPN request.

What to put

MONO Connect is our client for Mac. It contains both profiles of one subscription: NaiveProxy by default and SSTP as a backup. File MONO-Connect.dmg downloaded from the site, without the App Store.

SSTP Connect is available in the App Store and works on Mac too. If a third-party client is more convenient, you can. The standard way to use MONO VPN on Mac is our application.

How to connect

1. Download DMG

Open the image and move MONO Connect to Programs. If macOS asks about a program not from the App Store, open it by right-clicking → “Open”.

2. Add a key

Log in to the website or bot @monosvpn_bot. Copy the key from the “Profile” section or from Home and paste it into MONO Connect.

3. Select a profile

In the application, select NaiveProxy or SSTP - both are included in the same subscription. If one on your network behaves worse, switch to the second.

4. Allow VPN

The first time you connect, macOS will prompt you for a VPN. It needs to be confirmed. Without this, the tunnel will not rise.

Trial access and tariff

After signing up, select “3 days” and choose “Continue for free”. Get 3 days of access with no payment card or mandatory channel subscription. Your NaiveProxy profile, backup SSTP profile and setup guides will appear in your account.

If it doesn't connect

  • The account still has a trial or paid period.
  • Opened MONO Connect, key copied today.
  • NaiveProxy or SSTP profile selected - try both.
  • VPN permission in System Preferences is granted to MONO Connect.

If it doesn’t work, write to @monosvpn_support_bot: macOS version, protocol and error text, without the key itself. Near: iPhone, Windows, tariffs.
