NaiveProxy VPN: how to connect via MONO VPN
NaiveProxy is a proxy connection technology and MONO VPN is a service that provides access and profile to a compatible client. In MONO NaiveProxy is used by default. Backup SSTP is included in the same subscription.
What is NaiveProxy
NaiveProxy uses the Chromium network stack to transport traffic over HTTPS. The goal of the project is to make the connection look like regular web traffic. This is not a promise to work on any network; availability is subject to operator, server, and client settings limitations.
On the device, the profile opens in a compatible application. Which programs are routed through a connection depends on the mode and routing rules of that application. The profile itself does not mean that the VPN is enabled.

Ready subscription or own server
For a ready-made connection via MONO, you do not need to rent a VPS and configure a server: the profile and instructions are issued in the account after activating access. Purchasing a subscription does not mean purchasing the open protocol itself.
If you need your own server, this is a different scenario: you maintain the node yourself and monitor its availability. There is a separate one for him reminder for setting up the NaiveProxy server.
How to get a profile and connect
- Open account on monovpn.app or official bot @monosvpn_bot. If access has already been purchased, use the login method associated with it.
- For the first acquaintance, select “3 days” and click “Continue for free”. Trial access does not require card binding; Pressing a button in a bot does not in itself activate it.
- Open the instructions for your device and install the specified client. Select NaiveProxy and get an up-to-date profile in your account.
- Import the profile as instructed and allow the creation of a VPN connection if the device requests this permission.
- Enable the connection in the client. Check the necessary sites and applications; if there is an error, use connection check.
Which client to choose
- iPhone and iPad - sing-box MT; instructions and installation link are in the account.
- Android - sing-box; choose an installer for your device according to the instructions.
- Windows - Hiddify, with profile and settings from the account.
- macOS — MONO Connect.
Profiles of different protocols are not interchangeable. If you are using another client, first check NaiveProxy and profile format support. Do not send your personal subscription link in public chats.
What to do if NaiveProxy does not connect
First, check the regular Internet without VPN, the access period and the relevance of the profile. Then try a different network: This will help differentiate between a device problem and a specific connection limitation.
In MONO, you can select SSTP in the same subscription. A new SSTP profile is created only after its connection is confirmed. Use the appropriate client and disable your previous VPN connection before enabling another one. SSTP may also not be available on some networks.
